The La Grandeur guitar has been commissioned by one of IGS’s loyal customers, a prominent leader of a major company in Indonesia.
Its specification features a combination of Italian Alpine Spruce for the top and African Blackwood for the back and sides, drawing inspiration from the specifications commonly used by Casimi Guitars—a premier boutique guitar brand from South Africa—known for their remarkable creations.
This combination allows for a vibrant and resonant sound, as the lightweight Italian Alpine Spruce top is further enhanced in projection and resonance by the African Blackwood, the hardest rosewood species on the planet. The resulting tone is focused and rich, delivering optimal sound projection.
Aesthetically, this customer desired an elegant and sophisticated appearance with minimalistic decorations. This desire is understandable, as the customer is a luxury car collector, and such aesthetic sensibilities extend to their guitar selection.
At the headstock, the guitar is equipped with Japanese-made Gotoh 510 series tuning machines to ensure maximum precision and durability.
