This La Grandeur series is a special commission from Sebastian, a customer from Tangerang. Interestingly, Sebastian is an avid guitar enthusiast who has trained in the art of lutherie under the mentorship of famous Malaysian luthier – Jeffrey Yong. It’s remarkable and an honor for us that even a luthier would choose to order a guitar from IGS!

Sebastian shared that before discovering IGS, he had often tried ordering guitars from several local Indonesian luthiers, and he generally found the results to be far from satisfying.

This guitar is crafted from AAAA grade Italian spruce, while the back side features the highest quality East Indian Rosewood with a stunning two-tone color that further accentuates its beauty.

Like all guitars in the La Grandeur series, every piece of wood used is of the highest grade and has been dry-aged for a minimum of 10 years. The setup aspects are also reinforced with the PLEK System, ensuring optimal playability and comfort.
