As you may know, the La Grandeur Fortissimo is a guitar built with a Double Top construction. While I previously used a balsa core in the prototypes and earlier models, this time I opted for a NOMEX core. Remarkably, the sound has become drier, woodier, and more natural, with an increase in both volume and responsiveness.

This guitar was commissioned by Christopher, a customer from Jakarta who works as a specialist doctor. Previously, Christopher played a Japanese guitar made by Kohno. Upon receiving the La Grandeur guitar, he provided feedback that his new instrument is significantly more responsive and powerful compared to his previous one.

The inlay on this guitar is a unique design created by Christopher himself, reflecting the names of his family members:

“My wife, child, and I are all Geminis and, coincidentally, have celestial nouns in our names:

– Christopher SURYA (sun)
– Yuni ASTRIA (star)
– Abraham JUNO (god of the moon)

Furthermore, while my wife was pregnant, I often played my old Kohno guitar, which inspired the idea of creating a symbol where this premium guitar serves as an instrument for our own trio.”

Like all models in the La Grandeur series, this guitar is crafted from the highest grade imported materials, with each piece of wood having been dry aged for at least ten years. It is also equipped with Rodgers Tuning Machines, further underscoring its status as a true world-class instrument.
