This guitar, featuring a Double Top construction, is a custom order from Arkadius Ari, a famous tenor opera singer who has performed in various countries, including Indonesia, Italy, and Germany.

Previously, Mr. Ari used a vintage Yamaha guitar, but he felt that the volume was insufficient to match his powerful singing voice. That’s why he decided to order the La Grandeur guitar with a double top construction, aiming for a robust and resonant sound to complement his performances.

However, in the La Grandeur series, quality of sound is just the beginning; we are committed to creating guitars that are masterpieces in their own right. To achieve this, we incorporate the rare Sinker Redwood for the top, a unique species that not only delivers exceptional resonance but also boasts a distinctive aesthetic and a fascinating history.

We are incredibly grateful that during the handover of this guitar, Mr. Ari expressed his utmost satisfaction, repeatedly praising the sound quality of IGS’s highest-end guitar series. Beyond just the sound, he also commended the meticulous craftsmanship and the overall comfort of playing.
