Herencia means ‘Heritage’.
In this special series, i would like to present you a faithful reproduction of the great guitars in the past, a hommage / tribute to many legendary master luthiers that i admire.

It is my dream to provide a top quality instrument and a work of art, with a fair & honest price.

On 2024, IGS launched a La Grandeur Herencia – Torres Model. Based on Antonio de Torres 1867 (First Epoch). It took 2 years for me to do the R&D process and 7 prototypes to finally be able to achieve the highest possible quality.

However, i deliberately wanted to make a product that was even better than the original Torres.

• I add the 2 bars of carbon fibre inside the neck to ensure much better stability than the original Torres
• The top wood is using a master grade torrefied Italian spruce which gives the top a nice ‘vintage looks’ and helps the instrument to achieve an open / powerful sound right from the moment the guitar is born.
• Gotoh Premium tuning machine (the highest model) to ensure a much better precision and durability.
• Camel bone nut & saddle to achieve ‘aged / vintage’ looks. Camel bone is a denser / harder material than regular ox bone, so it is better in transmiting the vibration energy and will improve the sound even further.
• All components incl. back & sides, neck, fingerboard etc are all using a master grade wood that has been dry aged for at least 10 years before the construction process
• Just like the original Torres, the weight of my Torres Model is approx. 1.400 grams, with body resonance around F / F#
