I had the pleasure of meeting Ferima Ramadhani Vianti, the talented luthier from Jogjakarta (Central Java) behind Ferviant Guitar in 2024. From our very first encounter, it was evident that her passion for guitar making transcended her relatively brief experience in the field. The craftsmanship she poured into each instrument immediately stood out, showcasing a level of quality that rivals many esteemed guitar makers both locally and internationally.

Ferima’s dedication to her art is apparent in every guitar she creates. Her designs uniquely blend traditional Indonesian aesthetics with contemporary innovations, resulting in instruments that offer unparalleled sound quality and aesthetic appeal. Her latest models utilize a combination of X bracing patterns and modern soundboard technologies which reinforce the brace with carbon fibres, allowing for exceptional projection, loudness, and clarity.
